Hilts-Willard

Established in 1878, Gloversville, New York. A century earlier the American glove industry began here, based on techniques for tanning deerskins developed by the Mohawk Indians. By 1878 90% of America's gloves were made in Gloversville or neighboring Johnstown in upstate New York. Our styles represent more than a century of experience in gloving design and craftsmanship and, we feel, live up to the company motto from 1878: "Like old friends, they wear well".
