Sea Island is the yarn from which the finest and most exclusive cotton fabrics are created.  Sea Island Cotton contains the longest cotton fibers in the world.  They reach a length of up to 52mm and demonstrate an extremely high breakage resistance. Fabrics made from Sea Island yarn excel because of their fineness and density.

Sea Island Cotton is grown exclusively in the Caribbean Islands and it is tenderly harvested all by hand. Because of its limited availability, this naturally raw material is a rare and very precious commodity.

Sea Island is a very high quality product with a long tradition behind it.  Back in the 1930’s, the WISICA (West Indian Sea Island Cotton Association) introduced this superior type of cotton trademark. WISICA still controls every kilogram of Sea Island Cotton grown, and assigns to it the certificate of authentication. A distinctive “Sea Island Cotton” label is sewn into each shirt.
