Mogador - A blend of cotton from North Africa & Chinese silk which were traded by Europeans during the 17th & 18th centuries. This trade often took place on a small group of Islands just of the coast of Morocco. The English were first to combine the cotton warp, silk weft fabric and named it Mogador after the region.
