Today, we’re taking a look at Viyella’s sport shirts. We have two different styles we’re going to look at today. One is their most common and most popular and our best seller by far – it’s the 80/20 blend. And then we have two of their luxury shirts we brought in this fall, as well. And those are a cotton-cashmere blend.

So, Viyella is – I’m just going to kind of read a little piece off their card here: They were established in England in 1784. They pioneered the creation of a revolutionary unique blend of the finest merino wool and long-staple cotton. Viyella cloth spun from this yarn was the first branded fabric in the world.

They’ve been around for a very long time. Hansen’s has had the pleasure of working with them for a very long time.

We have all of their main staples on our site, as well, but we’re not going to go through. So, if you like the Chambray, the Shiitake, the Royal Stewart, all those solid colors in navy, red, they’re all there. They’re all available. And in those styles, we actually have additional sizing available. We get up into xxx-large, xxxx-large, the xx-large tall, the xxx-large tall. We kind of have a slew of sizes in all of those standard ones.

But the ones we’re looking at today are the ones that we brought in specifically just for fall and some of their new plaid patterns that they have.

So, the first ones we’re going to look at are their 80/20 blend. They’re great, great shirts in wool and cotton. This is just the first one. It’s just a great navy. Well, I should say the base of it is black. It has some blue and yellow. This is just a great plaid.

Each one, they don’t really have any special names or anything, so it’s just based on the exact colors of the shirts. We’re just going to kind of go through them. We wanted to show you each of them. They’re all up on our site. They’re all available in medium through xx-large is what we have brought in in all the ones behind me.

Some of them have already sold, but there should be plenty of shirts available. This the first one that we’re looking at. It’s that black with the blue and the yellow.

Up next, is a maroon. It’s kind of got that burgundy, the blue and some navy in the background there.

Again, these retail for $125. I didn’t say that with the first one. These are all the 80/20. They’re the classic cut that they’re known for. They have come out with modern fit. We didn’t bring in any of those this fall. They all have that button-down collar and the cuffs are all the same on each one of them. I won’t go into tons of detail on every single one. We just kind of really wanted to show you all the awesome different patterns that we brought in here.

Here we have another blue/yellow and it’s kind of got some red in there. Some of these shirts we’re going to look at are great holiday pieces that you could wear to any family gathering – if your family is getting together here coming up in the holidays.

Another great shirt here. It’s got navy, red and kind of like a tan/copper color. This has been a pretty popular one. It’s pretty muted. It’s pretty subtle, but a lot of our customers are really enjoying it.

Again, all these shirts at $125 that we’ve looked at so far.

Up next, is the one I actually have on. Some great pops of colors. I really like this with a pair of khakis, so that’s what I have on here today. Again, that classic fit, button-down collar. Retail for $125, sizes medium through xx-large.

Here’s kind of a fun one that we brought on. I think it’s a holiday classic. You’ve got your green, your blue, your red, your yellow. That great plaid color, or pattern, I should say. Like I said so far, all of these are those 80/20 shirts that they’re most known for.

Here’s another fan favorite for this fall, this green, again, it’s kind of got that gold/copper color to it. It’s been a great seller here.

So, we kind of tried to bring in about every style. So if you like something a little brighter, a little muted, we tried to bring it all in. This is obviously a little more muted, but there’s still a lot of color going on here with that darker green and maroon, there’s some navy and that lighter blue stripe throughout. So a great, great piece.

I did bring out one of their staples. This is the only one that’s really kind of part of their core. It’s the Black Watch Tartan – a bestseller every year, this and the Royal Stewart, which is that red plaid, that bright red. But this is the Black Watch Tartan. This would be one of the ones that we have all the sizes from medium through xxxx-large tall. If you’re wanting to try one and you can’t find your size, you will find your size at least in Black Watch.

And another great one with fall colors here with the navy. This kind of has that really kind of a deep maroon, kind of red throughout. It’s a nice subtle plaid shirt, again in that classic fit and the button-down collar.

I think this would be a perfect holiday or Christmas holiday shirt. It’s very similar, if you guys are familiar with Viyella, their Dress Stewart. It’s very similar to that. But this has a little bit more of greens in it. So, great greens, yellow there, some red. Great plaid.

We tried to bring in a couple pieces. The first we looked at had some black in it, this has some black in it, too. This has black, red and yellow. Again, just kind of that great plaid. Every shirt that we’re looking at does have that front chest pocket. I know I didn’t mention that earlier. A great-looking shirt.

We’ve just got a few left. So this is going to be the last one that we look at of that 80/20 blend. The last two we have are that cotton-cashmere. This is just a nice dark charcoal grey, again with the reds, some yellow in there. Depending on what colors you kind of like to wear, we thought grey would be a great option. For a lot of people, grey looks great and goes with a lot of different items.

Again the ones from here on over were all that 80/20 merino wool/cotton blend. And they all retail for $125.

Then the last two we’re going to look at are their – I call them their luxury, some people call them their anniversary shirts. These are their cotton-cashmere ones. These retail for $165 and they’re very soft – not that these other ones aren’t nice. These are super soft. They’re that classic fit, same features as all the other shirts with the button-down collar, the chest pocket. They’re just great. We brought two. There were two of four, so we brought two of them in. Some great, soft fall colors in this shirt, which makes it really great.

And then I will say that each shirt comes in one of these fancy yellow boxes. So, when you get your order from us, your shirt will be folded all very nice in this box. Not that the other ones don’t come nice, either, they just come in their nice, regular bags. But these are their luxury shirts, so they do have their own little fancy boxes that come with them.

And last but not least, we have probably one of my favorites – this great check. Again, it’s that luxury cashmere/cotton, retails for $165. We have sizes medium through xx-large in both of them. These are great. They’re very soft. If you love their 80/20 blend, you will absolutely love their cashmere blend.

I should say all these are made in Canada, so that is where Viyella is. They did start off in England, but these are all made in Canada. They’re great shirts. Viyella’s a great company to work with.
