Today, we’re going to be looking at Barbour. And Barbour is a new brand that we brought in to Hansen’s this fall. They’ve been around since 1894 and they set their roots in the British countryside and they’re still family-owned to this day. That’s something that we thought was neat as we love family-owned businesses.

So, we are going to take a look at two different styles. They have a quilted jacket and their wax jackets that we have behind me. We have more jackets on our site that are available, we’re just not taking a look at them. We’re kind of going to for each one give you some details about the jacket and, like I said, on our site there’ll be more information for you to find.

Up first, we have the Devon, and this is a quilted jacket. It retails for $290. The color is sage and it’s 100% polyester and is a relaxed fit. With the relaxed fit, there’d be a little extra room if you were wearing other layers to put this on. A great sage in color, it has that zipper and snap enclosure front. It does feature those two hand pockets and then each of these side pockets, you actually can put your hands in, as well. So there’s two different spots, along with those snap enclosure fronts here. And we’ll just take a quick little look at the back here.

I will slip this one on. I have it here in my size. I usually wear a medium in the jacket and that is what I am slipping on here right now. So, again, this is the Devon Quilted Jacket.

And it does have the double zipper, so if you wanted to come from the top or the bottom up, it does have that. Almost every jacket that we’re going to look at today does have that feature, if that is something that is something that you’re interested in. The other feature is that it has that corduroy lining around the collar.

So, this is the Devon in sage, we have sizes medium through x-large in this one. Again, they’re all up on our site, hansensclothing.com.

Up next, we’re going to take a look at the Flyweight Chelsea. This retails for $230. The color is black and it’s 100% polyamide. This one is a tailored fit. So, this one has that snap and zipper enclosure on the front. This one does have that third pocket on that right side. It is a zipper enclosure and the rest are just snaps here.

This is a little bit lighter of a weight jacket than that other quilted one. Just a nice simple black in color. The lining here is just that same fabric that’s around the whole jacket. Again, this is the Chelsea.

Here, we have the Liddesdale. This retails for $200. It’s another quilted jacket. The color’s olive. Again, the outer is that 100% polyamide. It’s a tailored fit. This one does have that corduroy collar to it. This one does not have a zipper enclosure. It’s just that snap enclosure all the way through with the lining on the inside here. And then the pockets on the front here also don’t have an enclosure, so everything is just open. On this, again, it retails for $200 and the color is olive.

And now we’re going to get into their wax jackets. Their wax jackets are really what their staple pieces are – what they’re most known for.

This is the Prestbury. It retails for $380. It’s 100% cotton wax. So it has the zipper enclosure, it’s got snaps on the outside. It does have that third zipper pocket up here, otherwise there’s the two front snap pockets here. I can slip this one on here, as well. Again, this is the size medium. That’s what I put on earlier in the Devon. Just a great fit, a great jacket.

We are going to be sharing, probably later on, on the care of your wax jackets. Obviously, you do not wash wax jackets. So we’ll talk about rewaxing them, spot cleaning them. There’ll be different things like that.

Usually on the inside of each of these wax jackets, there is a little thing for Barbour care. So they do on the jacket tell you what to do and what not to do – obviously, we suggest you follow that – but again, this is the Prestbury.

All right, up next, we have the Sapper. This is, again, a wax jacket. It retails for $425, the color is black, 100% cotton, tailored fit.

So the Sapper is a little bit different. This one does have a hood. In the back zipper enclosure here, a hood can come out for you if that is a feature that you’re looking for here. This does have that same fabric elbow patches. And then, on the front here, it is a four-pocket, front snap enclosure. It does have the snap and zipper front and then it’s that quilted liner on the inside. It does have a zipper pocket here, and then on the back I should just kind of show that it’s just nice and simple here. Again, the color on this one is black.

And on the cuffs here – I didn’t point that out on a different one – it does have the adjustable, so if you’re wanting a little bit tighter cuff there.

Up next, we have the Bristol Wax Jacket. The color’s navy. It retails for $425, 100% cotton, tailored fit. This has that corduroy liner here.

On the inside, Barbour’s really kind of known for their special tartans, and so a few of these wax jackets have those tartans in them. We love their tartans. They’re great fabrics. We are going to do another video on some of their shirts that we brought in and their second layer pieces, as well.

So, we’ll get into some of their tartans, but this does have some of their tartan lining. It has that corduroy that goes all the way down. This does have that snap and zipper front enclosure. This does have those hand pocket warmers here for you on each side and it has a double snap front here with a little Barbour log on it. And if we just kind of take a look at the back here.

And each of these does have interior pockets, as well. So, every one that we’re going to look at, some are a little bit different than the others, but every single jacket that we do look at does have some interior pockets.

All right, next we have the Beacon Sport Jacket. This retails for $745. It’s 100% cotton and a tailored fit. This one’s pretty unique. It does have that tab collar and so it can be a fully button enclosure here on the very front. It is obviously removable. I have it open right now so we can open up the jacket for you.

This is just a 100% button enclosure, so there’s no zipper on this jacket. The color, I should say, is olive here. It has a three pocket front. The chest pocket here is just a flat pocket, so it's a nice, simple clean look. And then down here, it does have those two pockets. And if we go to the inside, again, this is just another one of their tartans that they have, just a little bit different pattern. It’s got two pockets on the inside here with the care instructions. And then most of them have that corduroy lining, this one actually has leather. So that makes it a little bit different here.

Again, this is that Beacon Sports Jacket. It retails for $745. We have sizes medium through x-large in that.

Up next, we have the Ogston Wax Jacket. This retails for $475. The color is navy, and it’s 100% cotton and a tailored fit. So this one has a vest liner, so it’s got the snaps that close it and then it’s actually got a built-in vest that is not removable. It is part of the jacket. On the front, it’s got that four snap pockets here on each side. I should say the color’s navy, if I haven’t already done that.

On the back, there’s a nice little Barbour logo tab here. It does have it where if you want to make it a little tighter around the waste section, it does have the snaps back there for that. And then if we take a look here on the inside, again, it has that corduroy lining all the way around the neck and then it has that built-in vest here. And then, again, it’s just another one of their tartans that is on the inside.

I should point on the back here it does have those leather elbow patches. Just another great, unique feature for this jacket. This is navy in the Ogston.

Next, we have the Teddon Wax Jacket and the color is brown. This retails for $475. It’s 100% cotton and a tailored fit. So this has that corduroy collar like the other ones. This has a button enclosure, along with a zipper. It’s got that quilted lining throughout and just a touch of the tartan on the interior here. It’s got that inside single pocket, down here there’s the care.

And then out front, there’s four pockets. The bottom two are button enclosures and I have this one unbuttoned. It has a little Barbour logo on here and then the top ones are snaps. I’ll just kind of give you a look at the back here. Again, this is the Teddon. We have sizes medium through x-large. This is actually medium, so this will be the last one that I throw on, but I can throw this on so you can kind of see the difference in each of the styles because, again, this one would be considered a tailored fit where the Devon Quilted that I put on first was a relaxed fit. And, apparently, if I knew how to run a zipper, I’d be good. So, again, this is the Teddon.

All these waxed jackets, we’re really excited to have them this fall. We’re excited to see what our customers think. And I forgot to show you on the inside of this one, it does have that tartan on the inside of the back of the collar, so it does have that tartan on the inside. It looks pretty awesome, as well.

And last but not least, is the Woolingston Wool. This is in olive check. This retails for $700 and it has a waterproof drop lining. So, even though it’s wool, it does have that waterproof lining on it.

We’ll just start on the back here. It has the leather undercollar here. It’s got the check all the way through. It’s got the vents on the bottom that are snap, so you can have them snapped or unsnap them if you are wanting those working vents there. On the front here, it does have the snap enclosure as well as the zipper, so that goes all the way through.

Then, in here, there’s the great wool that goes down and then it’s got that quilted interior liner and then there’s a velcro pocket for you to have a nice interior pocket. Again, this retails for $700. This is the Woolingston and it’s in the olive check. And just on the back here, if you didn’t see it earlier, it has the nice little Barbour logo on there. This jacket has a little more length to it, so if you’re looking for a jacket with a little more length, that would be a great option.
