Welcome to another Sunday live! This week we’re looking at a selection of Zanella’s 2021 Dress and Active trousers. If you’re looking for a comfortable fit, you’ll be happy to know that all of the Zanella trousers have stretch waistbands, which provides a good amount of give for the wearer.
Though Zanella didn’t enter the United States market until the late 1970s, they’ve been crafting high-quality trousers in Vicenza, Italy since the 1950s. Zanella is not only known for their exquisite craftsmanship but also their dedication to helping each customer find the perfect fit.
With the styles that we’re highlighting today, we’re carrying sizes 32 - 42 in store. There may be a few additional sizes available on some of the pairs. All the products come in unfinished on the bottom, so when you’re making your purchase, you’re able to choose your inseam with no additional charge. Keep in mind that we do add a half-inch for shrinkage purposes. You can also purchase the pants unfinished if you have another tailor in mind that can finish them for you.
First up are the Devon trousers, which are available in quite a few different colors. You can pick them up in Grey, Dark Grey, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Blue, Classic Blue, and Blue with White pinstripes. These retail for anywhere from $328 to $378. The Devon trousers are flat-fronts, making them slimmer than pleated pants with a cleaner silhouette. They offer a 10-inch rise, which is usually considered a normal rise, so they should fit snugly around your waist.
Zanella’s Todd trousers are very popular. The pair showcased in the video looks like solid Navy Blue at first glance, but if you look closely, you’ll see that there’s a subtle plaid pattern. These pants are also flat-front and they offer a 10 and a half-inch rise, which is right on the cusp of high-rise. The style seen above retails for $298, but you’ll come across different prices as you browse our selection.
The Bennett line is extremely popular in our store, so we’re bringing them back yet again! The Tan Bennett trousers have a bit of a hound’s tooth pattern. The rise is 11 and a quarter-inch, putting them in high-rise territory. These pants are pleated, with double reverse pleats on the front. The tan Bennetts retail for $428.
The Light Grey Bennetts offer the same specifications, but retail for $398. With the Bennetts, we tend to carry higher sizes than we do with the Devons and the Todds. As with the other pants, there are a lot more styles available on the website. Be sure to check those out if Tan and Light Grey aren’t your favorite colors.
Finally, we have the Zanella Active trousers, which are comparable to golf pants. These were released last season, but we didn’t bring them in, as we tend to stick to traditional pants when it comes to Zanella. Instead, we decided to try the active trousers for ourselves. We fell in love with them, so this season we’re adding a few pairs to our selection so that our customers can give them a whirl. We’re excited to see what everyone thinks!
These pants are perfect if you want to get a little exercise in but you want to look good while doing it. These offer a four-way stretch for comfortable, unrestricted movement. The 9 and three-quarter rise means that they sit a little lower than the other Zanella pants.
These pants are available in Navy Blue, Grey, and Tan, and they retail for $298. As with all of the other pants discussed today, they come unfinished, so you’ll be able to decide on your inseam.
