STREAMED LIVE ON APR 18, 2021
It’s Sunday, which means it’s time to showcase some more beautiful offerings from Hansen’s Clothing. This time we’re looking at some neckwear from Robert Jensen, a menswear company that’s been designing neckties and pocket squares for over 30 years. Although their products are designed in Marina, California, those designs are brought to life by talented artisans all the way in Como, Italy who lovingly sew every piece by hand.
We’re excited to show off some of their spring 2021 necktie collection. Be sure to go to www.hansensclothing.com to check out their complete line of ties. Now let’s talk about some of the pieces that the line offers.
There are two different weight styles within the spring 2021 collection. All of the neckties listed for $130 will be a little bit lighter, while the ones listed for $155 will have a little more weight to them. The difference is slight and it all comes down to personal preference. Both weight classes offer the same quality that one can expect from Robert Jensen neckwear.
Speaking of variations, customers can get almost all of the ties showcased in a longer length, though we don’t carry as many longs as we do regular length, so there are no guarantees as to what will be in stock at any given time. The regular length is 58” while longer ties run 64”.
Let’s start with the neckties that retail for $130.
Spring means that lighter colors are in fashion and you don’t have to look any further than our first tie, which displays vibrant stripes of orange, teal, and bright red. If you’re looking for slightly more subtle stripes, the red and navy blue tie has been an extremely popular item. Keep in mind that remaining supplies may be very limited.
If you’re looking for something fun to wear, we have brought in three novelty patterns from the Jensen spring collection. We don’t normally carry pieces like this, so if you’re a loyal Hansen’s customer, you might appreciate something new and different.
First up is Stallion Head in fuchsia, which features a pattern of stallion heads and two accent orange stripes at the bottom of the tie, as well as subtle orange displayed throughout.
Any golf lovers out there will love what we call our “Master’s Tie,” a nod to the famous green Master jacket. This tie features a pattern of a golfer mid-swing. The tie is the aforementioned green (though clearly a brighter shade than the actual Masters jacket) with a slight blue element in the design of the golfer.
If you’re looking to sport some style on the high seas, you can’t do much better than our beautiful blue shark tie, which features a light blue shark pattern. Like our other novelty ties, at a distance, the print simply becomes an elegant pattern. Once you get up close, however, the images really pop.
We have a pair of ties for dot lovers. If you’re wanting an overstated appearance, we have both black and navy blue ties with large dots. If you’re looking for something more traditional, we have a sharp piece with much smaller dots, also available in both black and navy blue.
Those are the ties that retail for $130. Now let’s dive into the $155 collection. As mentioned above, these ties are slightly heavier and more constructed.
First up is a very popular baby pink tie adorned with white circles and blue dots. It’s a very soft, understated necktie. If you’re looking for something with even more detail, there’s a lavender and red medallion tie that features a nice floral design.
If you’re a big fan of flowers, you might be interested in our light blue and silver tie with beautiful multicolored flowers running the length of the tie. The iron set that’s been used gives the tie a nice shimmer effect that just complements the outstanding design.
Our next tie is the one being worn in the video above. It slightly resembles the baby pink tie with white circles and blue dots, but this time it’s orange dots inside of white diamonds, laid across a blue tie. Keeping with the orange theme, we have a navy tie with crisscrossed orange lines forming a diamond pattern. If you like the design but prefer different colors, we have the same tie in purple and yellow.
Speaking of yellow, it’s a very popular color in ties, and we have a nice solid yellow tie with hints of blue weaved throughout. It’s a very simple, understated design that would work for multiple occasions.
Finally, the last necktie that we’re showing off today is a traditional, dependable red piece that features white circles containing blue squares. While it may sound like a busy design, it’s not as overstated as one would think. The design works on a subtle level that still manages to pack a lot of dimension into the piece.
All of our ties come with a complimentary Hansen’s tie case that allows you to travel with the tie safely rolled up. This ensures that there won’t be any unsightly creases or folds when you finally unpack it to wear it.
Don’t forget that Father's day is coming up soon. Any one of the ties featured today would make an excellent gift for the dad that likes to look fashionable.
