Thanks for swinging by for another edition of Sunday Live! It’s starting to get a bit warm out there, so swimming pools and surfing trips are just around the corner. This week we’re looking at Peter Millar’s 2021 Seaside Swim trunks. These bright, vibrant designs will turn heads at the beach and let you cool off in style.
All of the shorts featured today have the same exact make, which definitely makes it easier when building up your summer wardrobe. Each pair is made from a polyester/spandex blend and features an 8-inch inseam and interior lining. You’ll find two pockets on the front and one on the back, as well as a pocket on the inside. The inside pocket is considerably smaller than the others, but it’s ideal for stashing away money or other small valuables.
The Peter Millar Swim trunks retail for $98 and we carry medium to XX-large in size, though we have had these in stock for a little while now, so some sizes might be sold out. Lastly, each pair comes with a complimentary drink koozie modeled after the Recipe for Disaster trunks. Not only will you look good while swimming, you can even keep your drinks cold in style!
Let’s run down the trunks that we’re showing off today.
The Deep Sea Fishing trunks have a very fun, aquatic vibe with various fish on top of an Ebb Tide background, which is something between a green and a blue.
Lovers of bright colors should check out the Positano Paradise trunks. The color is Pink Caliente and the shorts feature pictures reminiscent of a quaint little seaside town.
There’s the aforementioned Recipe for Disaster design, which is the print that comes on all of the drink koozies. Appropriately, this pattern features a combination of mixed drinks, cocktail ingredients, and sharks! A recipe for disaster indeed!
The titular birds featured on the Flamingo Frontier trunks are blue rather than the usual pink, but they stand out nicely on the Nectarine background. Whether you love birds or shades of orange, this pair should definitely be to your liking.
The Iguana Ensemble trunks feature a stunning design of pink iguanas on a Deep Ocean background. Show off your love of lizards, limes, sombreros, and chili peppers with this colorful pair of trunks!
Another pair of trunks for fish lovers, Marlin Madness features multiple shades of blue with an array of Marlins on a Blue River Tide background.
The Hibiscus Harbour swim trunks feature pink flowers, green leaves, and a Wave Break blue background. They’re the perfect shorts to wear as spring gives way to summer!
Once again, we have various shades of blue with the On The Prowl trunks, which feature a mass of tigers and jungle leaves against an Ebb Tide background. The Ebb Tide color is the one also featured on the Deep Sea Fishing trunks. The cool blue tones here ensure a nice calming vibe to undercut the ferocious jungle cats.
If you’re looking for something with a very intricate design, the Pacific Paisley trunks might fit the bill nicely. A paisley design on a Navy background, this is yet another pair that features a variety of blue shades, though quite a bit darker than the last pair.
The Snake Garden trunks have a similar color scheme to Positano Paradise, though the Palmer Pink Tide is quite a bit lighter than the Pink Caliente. The light blue snakes are cleverly hidden among the garden foliage, making for another elegant design that has a bit of a bite if you look closely.
Finally, finishing up today’s showcase and going out on another blue note, we have the Batik swim trunks in Navy, which features a simple, pleasing design of leaves all facing the same way. It’s a more organized pattern than the rest of the pairs featured today if that happens to be more of your style.
