Welcome to Sunday live! Spring is winding down and summer is right around the corner, which means it’s heating up. People are going to start hitting the pool, so we thought we would look at some Spring 2021 Swim Trunks from Johnnie-O and Barbour.
First up, we have about five pairs of Johnnie-O trunks. Each pair we’re going to showcase comes with an inner lining.
The Camm Half Elastic Swimtrunk features a flower pattern against a Marlin (blue) base. The strings are a vibrant yellow, providing a nice contrast against the darker shorts. These offer an 8-inch inseam. They retail for $89 and we carry sizes medium to XX-large.
Next up we have the Walpole Half Elastic Swimtrunks. The Coral Reef pattern is nice and bright, so if the dark blues of the Camms don’t do it for you, these might be just your style. These also retail for $89 and come in the same sizes as above.
The Karratha Half Elastic Swimtrunks offer a vivid red color with a blue geometric pattern running across. Like the other pairs of Johnnie-O trunks, they offer a single back pocket on the right as well as pockets on each side. Again, $89 will get you a pair of these in anything from medium to XX-large.
Those looking for a nice summer-inspired design will love the Mingo Half Elastic Swimtrunks with their fun multi-colored flamingo pattern. The base color is called Pipeline, which is light blue, not far from a teal. They retail for $89, come in sizes medium to XX-large, and sport the side pockets and that fashionable-yet-practical back pocket.
Our last pair of Johnnie-O trunks are the Arno Half Elastic Swimtrunks. There’s a lovely, rich Arno (blue) color that sits behind a pattern of little white and orange surfers. The drawstrings, which are always a wonderful accent on these trunks, are made up of the same white and orange. Once more, they’re $89, come in sizes medium to XX-large, and feature the three pockets.
Finally, we do have a few pairs of Barbour trunks. Last year we had some requests for a shorter inseam and we’re happy to say these pairs sport a 5 ½ -inch inseam. That’s considerably shorter than the 8-inch inseam on the Johnnie-O trunks.
The first of the two Barbour pairs are the Tidal Swim Shorts in Navy Blue. These offer a cool tidal wave pattern that couldn’t be more perfect for a day at the beach. They retail for $85, just a few dollars cheaper than the Johnnie-O trunks, and come in sizes medium to XX-large.
Then we have the Crescent Swim Shorts which feature a white and red floral pattern on a Rasperry (red) background. They can be purchased for the same price and in the same sizes as above. Both pairs of Barbour shorts feature inner-lining and side pockets.
Lastly, there’s a lifeguard hat from Johnnie-O! This one-size-fits-all headwear retails for $38 and is a great way to keep the sun out of your eyes.
